Origin Story

Redeemer Vintage is an East African inspired upcycling fashion brand founded by Toronto based designer Adeye Adane. Every piece is handmade in Toronto using vintage, deadstock, or upcycled materials, blending East and West influences.

Adane's love of design was shaped by her early years in Kensington Market, where she developed a passion for global textiles, jewelry, and craftsmanship.

She studied fashion design at George Brown College and environmental studies at York University. During her studies she interned at Jennifer Fukushima, Greta Constantine, and Beausejour Co. before launching Redeemer Vintage in 2024.
